Yuma, Here We Come!!

We went on my first "over-night in a hotel" roadtrip. It was really fun! We went to Yuma to see Grandma and Grandpa.

On the way there, we stopped to have a picnic dinner out in the desert. Boy was it windy!!

Mia and I enjoyed running around and stretching our legs for a bit.
I am just too cool!
Wow! A new state!! I have never been out of CA before!

Yippee for hotels!! I thought it was so neat that our room had 2 beds! I had to jump on both of them!

We visited a park by the Colorado River for a picnic lunch on Saturday.

I really enjoyed playing with the ball that Grandma got me. It was fun kicking the ball and playing with everyone.

Dad was slowing me the mud, yuck! I wouldn't touch it!

My favorite part of the park was watching Mia swim! Dad would throw a stick in the water for her and she'd jump right in for a swim. I even threw it for her a few times. That was sure fun to watch! I cried when we left because I didn't want to stop. I asked about it for the rest of the time we were in Yuma. Mia was pretty tired though, she slept all the way back to Grandma and Grandpa's.

Hooray for DVD!! I got to watch some of my shows on the trip. It was a nice way to relax since I didn't take a nap during the trip.

Before we left on Sunday, we met up at a great park in Yuma that Grandma told us about. Mama and Da got pretty lost trying to find it, but it was worth it!! There were all my favorite things at the park.

The park also had a nice lake. I wanted to see Mia go swimming again, but Mama and Da said it wasn't a place for dogs to swim. Bummer!!

It was fun eating at "In N Out" before our journey home. I liked the stickers they gave me.

All buckled in and ready to head home! I sure had a great time!!
