Big Boy Bed for John

John got a new bed! We're trying to make things ready for Sister and this was the next big step. He was SO excited about his new bed. When we saw it this morning, he couldn't wait to sleep in it. We headed over to Target and let him pick out some cool sheets. He chose Wall-E, of course! Ryan came over to help Louis bring the new bed in, it's pretty big. While they worked, the kids got to play together. They had a blast, as always. Once we got the mattress in, both John and Indigo didn't waste anytime jumping away. They also had a lot of fun turning the light on and off and then jumping some more.

John was very cute. He stopped jumping and went over to the crib and said he was taking his "sleeping stuff" over to the new bed. That included Goggie and Cow, of course.
Here's the room. We're still not finished with it, but this is the main layout. I want to get rid of the toy chest and get a better storage system in that place...

Here's a better view of the bed. It's a Captains Bed with drawers underneath. John thought it was cool moving his clothes down there.

We thought we'd keep the crib up as a bed for a few nights in case John has a difficult time adjusting. So far, so good... I was just telling Ma how big and grown up he's looking in his little bed. Now, the new bed looks so big and he looks little again! You were right Ma :)
