Skyfari Johnny

Mama had a crazy idea today. When we went to the zoo, she wanted to ride the Skyfari. I was a little nervous at first as I watched the gondolas come and go. By the time we got to the front of the line, I was crying. I was afraid we would go into the dark!

We never did! It stayed light the whole time and I loved it! Mama was nervous too being so high, but she had a fun time too.

I liked looking down on all the animals and people

I also liked hearing the bells in Balboa Park ring while we were up there.

I had so much fun that I cried when we got off! I kept telling Mama and Da that I wanted to go back into the sky again. We went to the new elephant exhibit and it was OK. Mama and Da really liked it a lot. They thought it was fun seeing all the new things and the elephants up close. I just wanted to get back into the sky again!

This time I had fun seeing the other gondolas go by too!

I think I have a new favorite thing to do at the zoo. I can add that to my list of riding the escalator, eating ice cream and seeing the ducks!
