What a Week!

This has been such an exciting week for our family. First of all, I love school! I have been having so much fun and I like my teacher Mrs. Mayra. It's been a food theme this week, so we made marshmallow snacks, fruit popsicles, aprons, chef hats, pizza and muffins. We also spent a lot of time drawing, painting and playing. I love going outside and I really like climbing on the equipment and playing in the little house they have. Yesterday Mama went in the house with me and I made her dinner. I have looked forward to school everyday, although on Thursday, I was a little nervous about Mama leaving. Mrs. Mayra showed me the hermit crab in the classroom and it was OK after that. I liked showing Mama all the fun things to do when she picks me up. I like it so much that I didn't want to leave on Thursday!

School has made me braver. Today we went to the park for a friend's birthday party. The park was SO crowded, but I loved it! I talked to kids at the park. I also climbed up the the top of the highest play structure and slid down the huge tube slide! I liked it so much that I did it twice! I've never done that before, it's always made me too nervous before.

Another big thing is Sister and I are sharing a room now. Last Friday we had our first night together. I LOVED it! It was so fun having a buddy in there with me. On Sunday night, Mama put Ry to bed awake and we talked to each other for awhile and then we both fell asleep. Every night I wait for Sister to go to bed and then I can relax and sleep.

On a side note, last night Sister went to knitting night with Mama while Da and I hung out. Riley slept until 10 in the morning!! All that knitting really wore her out!
