Ice Skating

I was so excited about going ice skating! We were at Jungle Bells at the Zoo and we specifically went to go skating. We watched the other kids for a few minutes and I couldn't wait! Mama was excited too. It had been a long time since she'd skated. They had synthetic ice there. So it wasn't cold and wet... another good reason to try it out here

It was slippery! I wasn't too sure about that! I thought it was funny at first, but then I got a little worried about the slippery feel of the "ice"

Overall I had a fun time. The boys that were skating around us and crashing into the walls made me a little nervous at times. When I'd get close to the exit, I'd tell Mama I was ready to get out. We did make it around 3 times though. Daddy said he was impressed with Mama's balance :) I'm glad we did this, although I haven't asked to go skating since....
