Pumpkin Carving Time!

We carved our pumpkins last night! The kids loved it! Riley had to sit right in Daddy's lap so she could be close to the action!

"Cheese!"

I thought she looked cute here and so grown up!

John actually helped carve with a safety knife this year!
What's inside?

Does it taste good?
I love pumpkin goo!
Mia watched from a distance
John really enjoyed the pumpkins this year!

Ry didn't mind getting her hands dirty again this year

Riley has a scoop!
Here's out first one! John designed it himself
Here he is drawing a picture for the next one. Love it too since he asked why our pumpkins don't have leaves and tendrils like the one at school! Good $5 word there John!
Here's the next design... it has tendrils :)
Riley liked poking around in the seeds
Still doesn't taste good...
Love that smile!!
The other thing that surprised me is John told me yesterday that bees are good since they move the boy flowers to the girl flower and that makes more pumpkins. True, true, but I didn't think about having that conversation yet! ;)
