Go Padres Go!

This was the week for seeing old buddies! We were invited to a Padres game with our friends the Smiths. It was an evening game and just Mama and I went! I really liked that. It was fun having time with just Mama. Riley didn't think so though. While Mama and I were heading out to the car, we said "good-bye" and I guess Ry waved at Da and said "bye" too!

We parked at the very top of the parking garage and I loved being up so high! We had to stop and check out the view!

I was SO excited! I loved all the people and the excitement of the crowd. I couldn't wait to get in! We met up with our friends in the playground inside the park. Dani and I hit it off instantly! We had fun playing together and we were both excited about the game. Mama and Robyn laughed that we looked like an old married couple, walking together and pointing out the sights to one another. We sat next to Robyn and Dani and we had AWESOME seats!

I loved seeing all the signs around the field! I loved reading all of them and seeing all the lights!

We were third row a little behind third base. SO cool! Everything was so close!

I brought my drawing board in. Dani and I drew pictures together. We also took turns with my board.

We got to share cotton candy, yum!! We both decided on pink and we loved every bite! We inhaled it. Mama and Robyn thought it was mostly because we knew we were sharing :)

The Padres got a home run! That was startling for us. There were fireworks and all kinds of loud sounds. I'm still telling Mama that home runs are loud! Dani and I are a match made in heaven, we both covered our ears for the noise. After that every time the crowd cheered, I was ready with my hands in case there were more fireworks!

After 4 innings, we headed back over to the park to play for a little bit. Dani and I danced through the walkways to the music.

It's a great with the field right there! We really liked the boat play thing. Pretending to save whales was our favorite game!

Dani and I held hands out to the car. We'll have to play again really soon! Mama and I enjoyed our big night out in the city! :)
